Story
Having worked for organisations like Standard Life UK and the National Blood Service coordinating Bone Marrow transplants, Shannon developed a meticulous approach to detail and a strong commitment to quality practices.
More recently Project Management and Business Analysis roles have equipped her with strong problem solving and design thinking that also underpin furniture refinishing and restoration.
Our love for sustainability & restoring old pieces began after we moved back home to Brisbane, Australia after 8 years living and working in the United Kingdom.
Shannon signed up to a local furniture painting workshop, and ignited the passion for refinishing furniture which changed everything!
The joy of transforming worn-out pieces into cherished family heirlooms is truly rewarding. Through self-study and countless hours of hands-on experience refinishing pieces for family, friends and customers, Shannon honed her skills and developed a deep appreciation for the art of furniture refinishing and restoration.
